Danger # 1 – Humans and “Survival Tips” Videos

Danger # 1 – Humans and “Survival Tips” Videos.

Just reminding everybody that humans/people are the most dangerous animals on earth.

Dangerous assaults are reported daily in the news media outlets and the wild outdoors is not exempt from those dangers.

Many treasure hunters have reported being stalked or believing that a sniper rifle’s scope and barrel has been directed towards them from a remote location such as mountain/hill ridge.

So always let somebody know where you are traveling to and try to travel with a friend/companion/organized club is best, (not strangers just met).

Do not over-estimate your abilities without recent training and practice at your attempted activities.

Old mines can be dangerous as the timbers rot, poor lighting, sudden steep drops and cavities, cave-in hazards and getting lost in the mazes of tunnels.

There are remote contact devices available now for areas where cellular telephone service is not available. I have the “Spot – Live to tell About It” Emergency Satellite Messenger service and device myself. With a Spot Emergency Satellite Messenger activated device with subscription you can stay at your vehicle to wait for rescue, etc.

Stay on designated trails, roads and carry emergency supplies such as food, water, first aid kit, etc.

Personally, I believe in carrying a weapon, (“right to bear arms” laws), to defend myself against an illegal “search and seizure(s), etc.” by criminal minded people and wild animals in remote areas where permitted.

U.S. Constitution laws also give: “The right of the people to keep and bear Arms, shall not be infringed” and to fight ie “provide for the common defense” against an assault protections provided by the U.S. Constitution laws: “The right of the people to be secure in their persons, houses, papers and effects, against unreasonable searches seizure, shall not be violated” by a humanoids, animals, etc, gives me the right to defend in any way “to the best of my ability” at those times and more!

The right to self-defense is pretty universal on Earth if you are in at least legal good standing for most and is a legal “common defense”.

Check local laws, research travel routes, takes maps, GPS devices before leaving home, it’s easy to get lost in places seldom transversed, even on seemly safe paved roads.

Absolutely do not trespass or claim jump a mining claim, many miners guard their properties.

Best of luck,
