Danger # 2 – Black / Brown, Grizzly and Polar Bears Videos

Greetings, Outdoor adventurers, etc.

Grizzly bears are definitely more dangerous than black bears! Black bears also sport coats that are brown or blonds.

However I’ve had dangerous encounters with black bears in many places even in Yosemite and my recollections seems to suggest the black bear approaches/charges at myself were mostly related to odor from my sweating feet.

Somehow my feet used to smell pretty bad after a day’s worth of walking, etc. and even the bathing/cleaning of my feet immediately at night before sleeping would not stop black bears from approaching me in my sleeping bag to sniff my feet.

I also survived charges from Black bears in remote areas while carrying a handgun. At maybe 200 hundreds yards on a few occasions a black bear would stare at me and then charge straight for me.

“The right of the people to keep and bear Arms, shall not be infringed” and to fight ie “provide for the common defense” against an assault, reference: U.S. Constitution laws: “The right of the people to be secure in their persons, houses, papers and effects, against unreasonable searches seizure, shall not be violated” by a wild animal including humanoids, etc, gives me the right to empty my rounds into the charging bears, etc. and drop them dead.

The right to self-defense is pretty universal on Earth if you are in at least legal good standing for most and is a legal “common defense”.

Generally a written or verbal report to the closest ranger, etc. is enough to close the assault defense circumstances of maiming or injuring of a large animal depending on the local rules/laws and regulations, etc.

Fortunately the strange odor from my feet has long disappeared and I’ve had no more dangerous black bear encounters recently. Yahoo!

I suggest staying as far away from wild animals as possible to be the best approach for consistent safety to yourself.
